2018 marks my 10-year partnership with Bulgarian violinist Krassimira Jeliazkova. We have had a wonderfully successful year of playing concerts in and around London with music by Beethoven, Schubert, Debussy, Rachmaninov, Stravinsky, Walton, Bernstein, Vladiguerov, Castlenuovo-Tedesco and Szymanowski. We see the year out by performing the 1st Movement of Mendelssohn’s exuberant double concerto, composed when he was merely 14 years old, with the East Anglian Chamber Orchestra at a private concert at Badmondisfield Hall, near Bury St Edmond’s this Saturday.
